Supreme Champion winner of the Australian National Show in 2012 and sold to New Zealand for A$150,000 Invictus had a true head start afforded him by his elite parents. He was the product of the first mating that EP Cambridge carried out with Firedragon once he arrived on farm. His dam is Verona 2 who has produced some of EP Cambridge’s best progeny including EPC Top Account and EPC Showpiece.

Invictus has it all, density, fineness, lustre, style and great uniformity. The lustre and crimp definition in particular are very pronounced. We will be releasing a number of his progeny in the spring of 2015.

Greylord was imported from Australia in 2013 as a replacement for Silverstream Governor Grey. What impressed us most about Greylord, was his impressive frame, stature and a total lack of spots in his fleece. Upon further investigation his fleece had excellent staple length, a soft handle and minimal dark fibres running through his fleece. At the time of purchase we were able to see many of his progeny and it was most noticeable that when put to a grey female, he was consistent in producing grey offspring. It is very rare to find a proven working grey male that does not have spots or differing colours in the legs and lower torso. In our experience in breeding greys, the fewer the spots, the greater the chances of producing grey offspring. Just look at that histogram – not bad for a ten year old, working grey male.

Ice Master ET has a very advanced style of fleece that is very even. It has an amazing soft handle with soft primaries and a deep amplitude crimp. The staples are narrow and run throughout the entire fleece.
Ice Master’s sire, Challenger was the sire of the Australian National Fleece Champion for three consecutive years. Challenger is also the sire of numerous supreme champions over many years.
Ice Master’s dam is an age group championship, winning female and was still winning championships as a senior female.
Ice Master’s grandsire is Windsong Valley Iceman, the only Australian alpaca to ever win the Australian national Show twice in both breed and fleece

Godsend is one of those males who has everything going for him. Outstanding pedigree, an impeccable show record, impressive fibre results and show winning progeny, make Godsend a very special male. What has impressed us most is the consistency of his histogram results over the years. We think 21u, a 4.3sd and a 97cf for a seven year old, working male is most impressive.

Godsend’s dam (Pucara Juliana), is Silverstream’s best dam – her progeny have won a total of 21 supreme champion titles including two national titles (Faberge 2008 and Déjà vu 2009). Godsend’s half brother is Silverstream Czar who won 10 supreme champion titles including supreme champion animal of show at the 2007 NZ Royal.

Jolimont Attitude, the sire, is a son of Jolimont Sculptor. Attitude passed BAS screening at 10 years of age and was exported to France.

From 33 show appearances, he was placed: 1st – 20 times; 2nd - 8 times; 3rd - 5 times;

He was awarded championships as follows: Age Group Champion – 16 times Reserve Age Group Champion – 6 times Colour Champion – 8 times Supreme Champion – 7 times Godsend progeny that have excelled in the show ring include Silverstream Kiss & Tell, Landau, La Toya, Kilbrennan, Silver-stone Ice Star and Brenor King William, Delanna and Trinity.

DESCRIPTION

Silverstream Nimbus scores well on every count - he has pedigree, great fleece credentials and an excellent show record. On the pedigree side you have some well known names such as Banksia Park Accoyo Challenger, Windsong Valley Iceman (the only only to have won the Australian National Show twice in succession for both breed and fleece), Jolimont Attitude, Silverstream Godsend ET, Pucara Juliana (Silverstream's best dam) and EP Cambridge Commissario.
If one then looks at the histogram and in particular the 3.2sd, the 67.2 curvature and the 100% comfort factor on a third fleece, then you have to take notice of this male.
Finally if one looks at the show results, then everything falls into place. A fourth and a second at the National Show followed by age group championships at NZ's largest A & P Shows.
Nimbus has staying power as well - he has spat off over 100 females and not given up once.
